The 16 Bank Street Building is located on the corner of Bank and Columbus Street in the heart of the Seymour historic shopping district. Housed on the site of the former Eckhardt Furniture Company, the building was refurbished and modernized in 2008 with the support of the State of Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development, the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston, and Naugatuck Valley Savings & Loan in partnership with O’Riordan Migani Architects and 16 Bank Street LLC. The building now boasts 4 ground floor retail spaces, a handicapped accessible elevator lobby and 12 one-bedroom apartments dedicated to 55+ senior housing.
